In this series I am concerned with the anthropomorphic qualities of the metal chairs of the Luxembourg Garden. I am intrigued by what they express in space, their positions and arrangements in patterns, the shadowy sense of physical presence. Here, where time seems suspended in space, the chairs are both found objects and subjects. They hide and reveal at the same time. Their interaction is the voice of their existence.
